Exploring the needs of Sivakasi People, Lions Club of Sivakasi has done fabulous permanent projects like Bus Shelters, Borewells, Home to Orphan Lady, Garbage Tanks, Water Tanks, etc.
For Government Hospital, The Club has donated Oxygen Storage Tanks, Air Conditioner, Laundry Machine, Many Medical and other necessary Equipments. They have also built a Children's Park apart from Patient's Waiting Shed and Wastage Storage and Segregation Room.
The Sivakasi Lions Club has built Class Rooms, Staircase, Toilet, Cycle Shed, Fencing to various Government Panchayat Schools.
At the heart of Lions Club, there is one constant: Service.
Lions Club of Sivakasi donates Food Materials, Food, Medicines and Educational Fees to the deserved orphanage homes and under privileged needy persons. Medical Camps, Eye Camps and Blood Donation camps are conducted at regular intervals at the surrounding villages and almost all surrounding schools. Prosthetic Legs, Sewing Machines, Wheel Chairs, and other necessary materials are donated to Hospitals, Schools and needy persons. Saplings are planted at various places around Sivakasi.
